Ball High Band Boosters

Dear Valued Community Partners, Alumni and Friends,

The Ball High Band and Color Guard Program is growing every year! Our goal is to become one of the most competitive and respected bands in our division. To reach that goal and continue to provide our students with the highest level of music education, we hope that you will consider joining or supporting us!

Our High School Band and Color Guard program operates through two sources of funding: District funds and funds raised by the Band Boosters.

District funding – The district pays for our standard uniform, instruments, repair of instruments, show choreography and music, salaries for the permanent staff, and travel to UIL events. The district also helps with additional funds for some clinicians, and certain marching band expenses.

Booster fundraising – Funds raised by the boosters cover hiring expert clinicians (to develop and strengthen skills in music, marching, choreography, dance and percussion), food and drinks for the band while away, social activities for the band during the summer and throughout the school year, student scholarships, the annual banquet, and more.

Throughout the year, boosters and students work to raise funds for our programs by selling concessions during the home football games and holding various other fundraisers like the Fan-pledge, car washes, local restaurant spirit nights, and more. However, with a growing program, there are never quite enough hands to go around.

Your time and effort directly impact the quality of their experience, so come be a part of something meaningful!
